Bmazon's Hosting Map, Oklahoma to Alabama
Rong Fu and Logan of Bmazon on the company's hosting, repair center and four US sites at Mining Disrupt Miami 2024.
Two hydro-cooled sites in Oklahoma, two air-cooled sites in Kentucky and Alabama, and a repair center in Oklahoma City. That was the picture Bmazon gave at Mining Disrupt Miami 2024, held June 24 to 26, 2024. Rong Fu, the company's business development manager, opened with the topic of how to optimize a mining operation and gave her answer straight away: "And then the first answer will be choose us." Fu said Bmazon hosts machines, runs operations and helps build sites. She said the company works closely with local utilities and cities, hires local employees and trains them to repair and operate the machines.
She also said Bmazon was looking for new hosting, and invited anyone with power or land ready to stop by its booth. Her colleague Logan, the on-site manager for the Kentucky site, walked through the numbers. The Oklahoma City site, he said, had about 7,000 miners on about 40 megawatts, and could be upgraded to 90 megawatts. A second Oklahoma site, in Atoka, had more than 5,000 machines.
"Both Oklahoma sites are hydro-cooled," he said. Kentucky had around 4,000 active miners on about 18 megawatts. The newest site, in Alabama, is air-cooled, with 22 megawatts and around 5,000 machines. Fu closed by saying Bmazon was hiring an on-site manager and an operations assistant, and asked for resumes.
