"This might be the single most bullish news surge that I have done." That was how the host of the Mining Disrupt News Surge opened the episode for Monday, November 11, 2024, the week after the US election.

On a weekend with traditional markets closed, he read Bitcoin at $77,363 and called it an all-time high. The network looked healthy to him: blocks every 9 minutes and 53 seconds on average, low fees, and more than 19,000 public nodes.

Then came a post for each day. Daniel Batten wrote that a multi-billion-dollar UK pension fund had announced a 3% Bitcoin allocation. Senator Cynthia Lummis said the US would build a strategic Bitcoin reserve. Dennis Porter of Satoshi Action wrote that several states would see reserve bills introduced in 2025. James Lavish wrote that Lummis and others were working on a bill for the government to buy 1 million Bitcoin over five years.

The host's own point was game theory. If the United States holds Bitcoin, he asked, will Germany, France, Japan and the rest just sit and watch? He named the companies that had already bought, Metaplanet and MicroStrategy among them, and said 48 of 48 politicians backed by Bitcoiners were in office.

He finished with gold. If Bitcoin passes gold's market cap, he said, that is somewhere between 800 and $850,000 per coin. "You cannot possibly be bullish enough," he told viewers.

When the episode was published, Bitcoin traded at $82,199. On October 26, 2026, it was $80,119.
